COMEDK Under Graduate Entrance Examination - COMEDK UGET 2008 for the Academic year 2008 - 2009 will be held on Sunday the 4th May 2008. The Online Application and other details are given below:
Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) 2008 Admission Notification
Admissions to Undergraduate Courses in Private, Unaided, Medical Engineering & Dental Colleges of Karnataka for the Academic Year 2008-2009 through COMEDK Under Graduate Entrance Test and Centralized Counseling. (COMEDK UGET-2008)
Karnataka Private Medical and Dental Colleges Association and Karnataka Unaided Private Engineering Colleges Association have set up ‘COMEDK to organise a ‘Common Entrance Test’ that would facilitate selection of candidates on merit for admissions to Under Graduate Courses offered by Medical, Dental and Engineering Colleges run by its members. COMEDK UGET-2008 Entrance Test & publication of test score and rank list will be followed by Centralized Counseling (Single window system) by COMEDK to the seats to be filled up. COMEDK invites applications for taking COMEDK UGET-2008 from eligible candidates intending to apply to UG Courses in Medical (MBBS), Dental (BDS) and Engineering (BE) courses for the academic year 2008-2009. Eligibility Criteria for applying for COMEDK UGET 2008:
- Applicants should have passed the 2nd PUC/12th Std or equivalent exam, Candidates who have appeared for the examination and expecting results may also apply.
- For MBBS and BDS: As per the MCI (Medical Council of India) and DCI (Dental Council of India) norms.
For Engineering (BE): As per the AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education) norms.
Applications are to be filled online on our website www.comedk.org after obtaining a DD for Rs.650/- for 3 subjects (PCB or PCM) and Rs.850/- for all 4 subjects (PCMB) in favour of COMEDK-2008, payable at Bangalore (Non refundable fee) and posted to the below given COMEDK address along with the DD and the documents asked for, on or before 07/04/2007.
Important Note - Filled applications will not be received in person in the COMEDK office or any member Institution.
